Brief: Our Engineering Department would be delighted to hear from capable and experienced Site Engineers and Engineering Surveyors, who have worked in the UK construction industry. All candidates must demonstrate a good formal education, preferably a degree in civil engineering or alternatively a recognised surveying degree or qualifications to a similar level. We are involved in a wide variety of projects, heavy civils, nuclear, highways and transportation, rail infrastructure together with water treatment and distribution works. Our Company employment policy is primarily permanent or temporary staff although we do occasionally employ freelance personnel on a limited company basis, if they are CIS registered. All members of S S Engineering staff hold suitable construction safety training certificates and as a minimum hold a CSCS Green Card. We are particularly interested in potential staff members who hold special training certificates such as PTS, Confined Space Training and CCNSG Safety Passports. It would be advantageous for all applicants to demonstrate good field setting out and supervisory skills and be familiar with total station technologies. Additionally, it is expected for all candidates to have a degree of computer technology in related software. S S Engineering is a long established Company and has an excellent employment record, some of our staff members have collected their gold watches!
