The directors, managers and senior staff are all former employees of Surveying Services, a land and engineering surveying company established in 1972.

Considerable experience was gained in the hectic years of the seventies in offshore oil and gas field development - concrete and steel oil production platforms, gas pipelines, petrochemical works, together with nuclear power stations, major civil engineering projects - motorways, dams and marine works, steelworks and industrial developments.

Following the retirement of the older Board members in 1984, SS Engineering evolved, expanding the Company's engineering and commercial capability further into the engineering and construction industries within the UK, Europe and overseas.

In the last twenty years our capability has matched the fluctuating and diverse construction industry market, most recently working in telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure schemes, power generation, transmission and retail developments.

We continue to provide our clients, both old and new, with construction professionals at all levels of seniority and will continue to do so for many more years.
